“WHEREAS, The Coco Loco Band was formed in 2004, by Peoria resident Tadd Johnson and the band has since thoroughly entertained audiences at summer festivals and fairs, as well as organizational, corporate, and private events throughout our state and beyond; and
WHEREAS,The Coco Loco Band has become synonomous with summer fun and family entertainment, fully engaging capacity crowds with their talent and music featuring covers of artists such as Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, and other tropically inspired artists; and
WHEREAS, the City of Peoria is pleased to bring recognition upon The Coco Loco Band, for their contributions to Peoria’s musical culture, family atmosphere, and summertime enjoyment;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Jim Ardis, Mayor of the City of Peoria, Illinois, do hereby recognize THE COCO LOCO BAND in Peoria, Illinois. Dated this 14th day of April 2009 A.D.

2 parts Tequila (must be 100% agave) I use 1800 or Tradicional
1 part Triple Sec
1 part Key Lime Juice (note the Key)
Or you can use the juice from one fresh lime
1 part Dole Pineapple Juice (this is the secret ingredient
A dash of sugar
Shake all ingredients well with ice in a martini shaker
Strain over ice in glass with a lightly salted rim
When we are feeling really hardcore, I don’t strain over ice. We just drink them straight.
I add the sugar and the pineapple juice.
